Enchantica has seen its fair share of battles, always entailing Good against Evil. But these have been man-made affairs, embroiling innocents into their machinations of power. True, the evil Vrorst had to be deposed, for his insanity would have surely seen all of Enchantica, nay, methinks the whole world, enslaved to his whims. Yet, what is to be said of the balance within nature? Can it be called war, if one species takes hostile action upon another? Of course not, it is quite simply ‘Nature’. But what of the truly solitary beasts the ones who really make it their place in the circle of things to kill, scavenge all they come across? Enchantica can boast, if that is indeed the right term, a plethora of these beasts. Creatures that should be confined to nightmares and not inhabit the real world. Gracklins, Massazauga, Craccators, Tunnel Serpents and many more, are just such creatures that I have witnessed for myself, upon my journeys. Voltanis (Draco Thecodontia) is a ruthless killer that inhabits the deserts to the South East. He will claim a territory (equivalent to 3 days journey on horseback, from any given point) as well as anything that enters this province. His senses are keenly adapted to this environment, he can smell one drop of blood for up to 8 leagues away. His powerful maw is capable of shredding even the toughest of carcasses that have been long in the scorching sun.
